Too many negatives

4.0

It was private.

It was renovated in the living and bedrooms. Flooring unstable especially in the shower area. Oldest bathroom I've seen since 1975. Beautiful wood heater but had to Message for wood and kindling which was delivered but no apology. No welcome book or any instructions. No outside table and chairs just a few logs around a pit fire. Tv didn't work to which I was told to point remote directly at base of tv which meant getting up and even then hit and miss. Power went out early morning . I then read on another site the property was all off grid. I had no idea on the 600 acreas where the main homestead was . After losing power I felt unsafe and only stayed one night of a 2 night booking.

The isolation of the cottage on the property, made for a quiet and peaceful stay. The owners provided bottled water as the main source of drinking water.

A pump near the cottage was noisy during the night.
