9.0Authentic medieval cottage, very cute and so comfortable. An easy stroll to pubs and shops and an easy drive to other villages. Lovely back garden. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils and equipment for a homely stay.
− Stairs upstairs more like a ladder so need to be aware. Very hot upstairs (was a heatwave week) but fan provided.
Really lovely visit
10.0Beautiful quaint cottage. Comfy and full of charm. Beautiful garden.
− Nothing
A rustic and authentic cottage experience in a lovely location .
7.0Location is great in the lovely medieval village of Lavenham. The cottage is quaint and parking outside on the quiet street was not a problem. A lovely decent sized garden at the back . We didn’t use the bbq as the weather was chilly for May.
− The cottage is obviously very old and is very compact and that comes with limitations . The stairs are steep so not for the faint hearted and the bathroom is downstairs so that is a consideration. There is limited space in the kitchen and we like to cook but we managed . There is no dishwasher and due to space limitations the crockery and glassware are dotted around in cupboards in the kitchen and lounge area . The bed is comfortable and clean with nice towels provided. Generally it is clean but would definitely benefit from a deep clean - I felt the need to wash all the crockery and utensils before I used them and the storage pits were dirty so I cleaned the ones I was going to use. There were a couple of (essential) items missing - no kitchen scissors and no garlic press but again we improvised.

10.0It has so much character and is a short work into the lovely village. Compact and charming. Loved it!
Beautiful part of England, lovely Tudor buildings and friendly locals
10.0Loved the location in such a beautiful village, easy walking into village centre. Perfect for touring the Suffolk countryside. Very comfortable bed and a quaint cottage.
− The steps were a nightmare but I realise it’s a very old cottage.
