Absolutely a hidden gem

The location was great - 2 minutes' walk from the cathedral. It is on the first floor in a very old building that has been restored by the hosts. The flat is beautifully done with great attention to detail and re-use of old materials. There is even an exposed painted wall from the 1570s. The colour schemes are subtle and restful but then there are some quirky pictures and bits and bobs to liven things up! Bed and sofa both comfortable.

− Inevitably it can get a little noisy in the city centre, but it was fine with the windows closed.

Great place to stay in centre for a couple

Location on main street of Gloucester great as period house but with issues sorted. Loved the history loved the walking distance to everything. Note to self to bring wife back to stay and enjoy.

− When I first arrived there were a few down and outs wandering about. They did not end yp causing issues and police patrol regularly. Some of the pubs have live music to midnight. Now I am early to bed but found it did not affect me. Also parking not easy use car park yellow behind Bull lane. 7.50 for early bird. None of the negatives affect my delight in staying for the weekend

The property was beautiful, full of so much history. Host was fantastic to deal with. The location of the property was in walking distance to everything. Parking was very close a 1 minute walk away.

− The pub music across the lane could get a little noisy. But it wasn’t a game changer.

Great location, central but quiet. Amazing 16th century wall paintings in hall.

− Clothes hanging space limited, but not a problem as only staying one night

This is an amazing apartment with absolutely everything you could ask for. The location is ideal, central to everything. The owner responds very quickly and we have already booked to come back. Very comfortable bed, great shower and quality towels.

− There is a pub directly opposite which is popular but noisy...however the bed is at the back so less noise but I would bring ear plugs. Otherwise its a perfect place to stay..
