7.0I've stayed at a different Homestead Modern property before, so was looking forward to staying at this one too. The design is just amazing, very thought through, lots of tiny details and usage instructions. The bed is comfortable, and the house has everything you might expect from a house, including a dishwasher, laundry facilities etc.
− Except for the shower. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned for ages, and limescale buildup was so bad the water pressure was very low, and sprays of water were going in all directions. Taking a shower and especially washing the hair was a challenge, which is just a ridiculous issue to have. Also the house was just generally dirty, especially the floors, I ended up throwing away all the socks I wore there.

8.0The amenities at this property were perfect. The interior design, bedding, and lighting were all so intentionally considerate. Perfect location to be away from town and take in the sunset and look at the stars!
− Although there wasn’t any reason to be anxious about outside traffic or eyes, the windows (especially the bedroom window facing the driveway and front door) could use curtains. The openness of the space is definitely something to get used to, but after the first night, we realized there would be no perceived threats or onlookers. But, for peace of mind, more curtains would make this property even better than it already is.

6.0The location and the hot tub was great.
− The uncomfortable sofa in the living room. No tv in the bedroom. Upon arrival we found left over in the oven which we took photos of. There wasn’t any cleaning equipment for us to wipe the tables etc besides dish soap which we used.
