Terrible property & rude host
1.0− Walked into the property after a long train ride after traveling all over Europe & the apartment had a very distinct burning, toxic smell. We looked around the place and notified the owner a few hours later he sent someone who came and turned on the vent fan in the kitchen. The smell got worse and we were all feeling sick to our stomachs and had pounding headaches. Notified the host a few hours after check-in that we would not be able to stay there because of the smell and were asking for a refund. The host then begin to belittle us saying there was nothing wrong and there was no smell and stopped communicating. He then accused us of making this up, which was ridiculous. We ended up having to pay over twice as much to stay a block away at a hotel and were never refunded. Worst experience we’ve had on booking.com. We are a host of many properties on the platform and would never treat another guest this way. Additionally, when we walked into the kitchen, there was a giant lint ball and trash on the counter. There was also a shop vac in the kitchen right in the middle of the floor. Don’t stay here:

10.0We really were happy in the stay here. We like Oxford Street very much, and the rental was directly on Oxford Street. Nice armchairs and bedrooms and importantly was good pressure in showers.
