10.0Absolutely perfect, very comfortable and private! Close to Hastings Caves and many other things to explore in the area. We had no trouble whatsoever with solar power/ off grid. We enjoyed Auroras and star gazing from the jetty and house! Absolutely perfect.

We are exploring Tasmania and are basing ourselves in strategic locations from which to explore the surrounding area tho
6.0Wonderful off grid location overlooking Hastings lagoon. Great wood burning stove and system for raising the logs up from the basement. The weather was quite cold so it was essential. The location meant we could explore this remote area with ease. Cockle Creek, Hastings Caves and Thermal Springs were worth a visit.
− It was impossible to close curtains in both bedrooms to get a good nights sleep as they either were missing or didn’t fit properly. This has obviously affected my/our overall enjoyment of what should’ve been a high score. Sleep mask essential.
