− By far my worst accommodation experience in five years of frequent business travel. I was given an incorrect door code, leaving me unable to enter the apartment and later afraid to leave, as I had no way to get back in. Customer service failed to follow up, forcing me to contact Booking.com for help. The listing also failed to disclose floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the street, offering almost no privacy. As a woman travelling alone, I would never have booked it. My concerns were ignored. Even more alarming, I have been receiving suspicious WhatsApp messages requesting additional logins since my stay, raising serious data security concerns. The apartment itself was acceptable, but poorly ventilated. Serious access and privacy issues, appalling customer service and questionable data security. An absolutely unacceptable experience.
