Clean room, quiet location
6.0Great location: the masseria sits on a huge lot and is surrounded by all kinds of trees and plants. Very quiet, calm, and relaxing environment. Close to Matera and Bari. The owners are sweet and helpful, available through Whatsapp. Spacious and clean little house with a kitchenette (fridge, microwave, cutlery, pots, pans, plates, glasses/cups, coffee maker). Pleanty of space to unpack. We were very lucky to be the only guests there—we had the entire backyard to ourselves to have breakfast outside. There is a beautiful small church on the property as well as a jacuzzi (we didn’t try it).
− The road leading there from the main road is not paved but we had no problems getting there with our car. We had some problems with the smell coming from the bathroom but leaving the window open at all times helped with that. An electric kettle would’ve been great. Given that this is a somewhat remote location and the buildings are old, in case of a storm there might be problems with the electricity (effecting the lighting and water in the house). The temperature of the water was fluctuating when taking a shower (hot water comes and goes). The shower itself is really small too so it requires some maneuvering.
Overwhelming experience of Puglian hospitality.
10.0I had a problem with my car and the hosts were just amazing. They came with a mechanic to see my car and take it to the garage and in the meantime Francesco lent me his own 4WD to be able to do some shopping and drive to Church. That definitely exceeded my expectations and is much above the responsibilities of even a very good host. SO their hospitality was overwhelming. Besides, the property is a hidden gem - a real Puglian beauty. Whatever I needed - my needs were met. Exceptional cleanness and spacy rooms and huuuge fields for the dogs to run free. I came with three Australian Shepherds that were crazy energetic after 2000 km trip but the hosts' reaction was very understanding.
− I really can't think of any stuff that needs improvement. Everything was excellent. The host has his private assistants helping the guests when he is not on the property so really everything is well thought over and taken care of.

10.0Exceptional house for relaxing and very convenient to visit Matera and Alberobello, as we already had planned. We'll keep in our memories the tranquility of the area and the politeness of our host!!! Practically the interior of the house was like new, also very well equipped and absolutely clean. Thank you so much!!!
