One bedroom with Great city views

Wir sind immer wieder in London und können diese Unterkunft wirklich weiterempfehlen. Hier die Pluspunkte: - die Wohnung ist für Londoner Verhältnisse wirklich groß und geräumig - Gut ausgestattete Küche - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt in der Nachbarschaft - U-Bahn und Bus fußläufig innerhalb von 2 bzw. 7 Min erreichbar - bequemes Bett Peckham ist nicht das edelste Viertel, aber wir haben uns immer sicher gefühlt, auch im Dunkeln. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war gut, bei einem Problem mit der Heizung wurde uns schnell geholfen.

− Die Sauberkeit war okay, könnte insgesamt aber verbessert werden. Auch Spülmaschinentabs wären toll gewesen. Wie schon in den Bewertungen vorher zu lesen, wurden die Check-in Daten ziemelich spät mitgeteilt, dies könnte ebenfalls verbessert werden.

Fine, but cleaning is missing

The appartement is fine. You have space, we could turn on the heating easily. The host left some coffee capsules, salt, pepper. We also left the rest of olive oil we bought.

− The kitchen is very dirty. Everything you touch, all the cutleries, pans. You have to wash everything and your hands after touching the kitchen. The dishwasher is old so it’s not functioning properly. We have to buy tabs also, there was nothing in the appartement. The bathroom is old but it’s ok. The host is fine, but you got the instructions 30min before your arrival time. Wifi is very bad, but it’s there. The area around is special, you have buses to city center, it takes 45min at least to get somewhere close to London bridge and 1h till the Palace. So it’s far. The train is faster but much more expensive.

A very comfortable stay in London

Very good located as there were supermarkets and bus and train stations to central London nearby. It had an elevator and all you need to prepare food and to eat in the kitchen. Oil and salt were provided and the apartment was very big :) the balcony and the view were amazing !! Would definitely recommend:)

− Maybe you shouldn’t go much around the area at night but since this is something you can decide by yourself before booking it’s still a 10/10 and it was really not that bad. Also the apartment could be locked very well (2 doors, police station in front and in 5th floor so we felt very safe). A little bit more information on how to get the keys would be helpful.

Peaceful and well-equipped flat with wrap-around balcony.

A spacious, comfortable and well-equipped flat in the heart of Peckham. It was surprisingly quiet and peaceful and has a wrap-around balcony with furniture and amazing views of London from its fifth floor position. On-site parking (in a secure ground-level car park under the block of flats) with its own designated space is a bonus in such a busy area. We had some problems locating the key safe which holds the keys to the flat but the host quickly came back to us by WhatsApp with the information we needed. Entrance to the parking is from the neighbouring dead-end road and needs a remote control which is kept in the flat, so much easier if there are two of you in the car.

− Access details a little bit longer ahead of time would have been helpful.

It was adequate

There was a lift and parking, large kitchen, comfy bed.

− Secure parking wasn’t that secure, the sliding gate could be opened by anyone, there was lots of things just stuffed into drawers and cupboards, no curtains in lounge or kitchen, sun was blazing into the lounge. We knew there was no aircon, but there wasn’t even a fan, I contacted them the 1st day and they said they’d look into it, a fan never arrived all week. Kitchen trays had seen better days and lack of kitchen jugs or bowls. Area is very rundown, not the nicest of areas.
