WOW!
10.0The location was abit far from anython but i guess that was the point, everything else was perfect; the staff was so accomodating the chef omg the food was amazing, even met the owner who was a joy to talk to! All in all would 10/10 recommend and if youre a couple this is place is perfect
− Honestly i couldnt find anything wrong
Disappointing property and service
3.0The setting in a tea plantation and the availability of bikes was a definite plus.
− The rooms were very basic and not well maintained, including in their cleanliness. No hangers in the wardrobe. The bathroom was acceptable, but the ubiquitous 15 litre immersion heater was barely able to cope with one person showering. The service at breakfast was so slow that we missed it when being collected to get the ferry to Majuli, despite our having emphasised the required timing the previous day. Our expectations of a “luxury room” and comfortable stay were sadly not met.
In need of new bedding and linen.
2.0On a tea plantation and peaceful. Helpful staff member Herok was excellent. Food simple and good.
− Bedding was not clean: duvet smelled and sheets had holes in them. The pillows were smelly and finished. Towels worn out.
Overall enjoyed my stat
8.0I liked the garden setting and the homestyle food ; there was desire to meet guest needs Facilitated a lovely day visit to Majauli island
− One of the other guests was very noisy late at night and early in the morning (which could have been managed better by the host)
Guest review
9.0Very relaxing guesthouse in the middle of nature and tea gardens. Staff was amazing and food incredibly good
Decent stay but insure you have wifi in the room!
8.0Nice farm stay with spacious rooms with almost all the comforts of a good 3 star hotel. Staff was friendly and responsive. We had a comfortable stay.
− We were booked in the annex that did not have Wi-Fi. This was not acceptable and the booking’s description said rooms with wifi so we insisted. There was extra charge for this room but we refused so given in same price. This seems to be a common issue here in the NorthEast - you book what you see and based on the description but invariably what you have booked and what you have seen/assumed is an upgrade!! Bookings needs to find a way to avoid this source of conflict and missed expectations!! At puroni beti Hot water was very limited … you couldn’t take a shower without water getting cold and then having to wait.
