Comfy and Convenient by the Beach♡

Bad Experience With The Owner.

− This is my awful experience with the owner of the apartment. Since  I am a "genius" member on Booking I booked a 6-day vacation for my parents to Comfy and Convenient by the sea. My parents are not able to make such reservations because of their age, so I did it for them. Also, this is not illegal on Booking. The day before the check-in, the owner asked for pictures of our passports which I didn't want to do through applications but also because of GDPR. He insisted that I needed to send him pictures because the Greek law requires so. I am Greek and I know the law by the way. Since I was not sure where our personal information would end up, because there is no privacy policy for his apartment, I kindly refused again. He then replied that we can not enter the apartment if we don't send the documents. So I had to send our documents to his WhatsApp number. After that, he required a safety deposit of 200€ per person,  while his apartment policy was 200€ in total. I once again refused to do so and let him know that he is totally wrong and explained that it is against Booking policy what he is trying to do. He still insisted, otherwise we wouldn't be able to enter the apartment. I didn't want to ruin my parents' vacation so I had no other choice. His rude attitude was driving me crazy. At this point, he was trying to make me cancel the reservation.  The day of check-in we started for the apartment. But he was demanding the deposit while I hadn't done it yet. At this point and after a lot of arguments, he understands that it was wrong to demand 200€ per person, so now it's only 200€ in total. I accept to pay that, as soon as I am at the apartment and I will pay by card. But he was sending me a link which I didn't know if was safe to access. So I had to make the payment through the link. I didn't feel safe with this and asked him to bring a P.O.S., which he didn't have. We were outside the apartment and waiting.

De zee was op wandelafstand vlakbij.En eigenlijk heb je alles vlakbij. Tegenover minimarkt bijna erlangs apotheek. Groente&Fruitwinkel iets verder op de hoek bakkerij.Bij de bakkerij kan je alle soorten koffie bestellen en héél véél keuze ontbijt. Je kan daar ook ontbijten en zelfs smiddags komt er elke dag verschillende soorten maaltijden tegen schappelijke prijzen.En tegenover is de zee. . Héél véél restaurants tegenover de zee .Luchthaven is ook kortbij een kwartier hoogstens 20 min ben je er!!!Voor ons een aanrader!!! Wij gaan zeker terug!!!👍👍👍

− Отвратително место, супер стари мебели, счупена мивка в банята, никакви удобства, взеха ни 200 евро депозит за щети и не ни го върнаха, без никакви обяснения, а не сме повредили нищо в апартамента. Не го посещавайте, ще Ви провали почивката.

The location is very good, close to shops and restaurants, 10-15 min to the beach. Big enough for 2 people only though.

− The bathroom and the kitchen are small.

Perfect location, all amenities nearby, wonderful beach in front. Comfy beds, good size balcony, there is a washing machine and all appliances in the kitchen. I would recommend and would stay there again.

− Stove is too weak, it takes ages to prepare a meal. Shower head is too low and water flow not too strong but very hot and nice.
