Comfortable house, now up for sale - felt the owners have lost interest in it a bit.
8.0House was very comfortable for our party of 8 adults. Plenty of space and seating inside the house, comfortable beds, good quality towels, well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our time there.
− Disappointed that there was no starter pack of milk, tea, coffee or basics like kitchen roll provided and no shower gel provided either. This seems to be standard now in this level of property so we expected it here. The cleaner had also forgotten to leave tea towels and apparently there was no-one around locally to drop some off. There were only 6 garden chairs for an 8 person house - we were told to take dining chairs outside. Major problem with the under-floor heating downstairs which couldn’t be turned off so the house was uncomfortably hot. Eventually managed to turn most of it off after advice from the owner but the heating in the hall remained on all the time which made the front rooms, upstairs and downstairs, unbearably hot. Road noise at the front meant that open windows in the front bedrooms to manage to heat resulted in interrupted sleep. So, this needs to be attended to as a matter of urgency. Glad we weren’t there during a heatwave!!
Large, comfortable stay close to Alnmouth
9.0The property was clean and spacious. The 4 double bedrooms each had an ensuite, which made it ideal for a large group of friends. The kitchen was well-equipped, and our stay was very comfortable. The hot tub was an additional bonus. The property is situated in a lovely village close to Alnmouth. There is a very friendly pub close by, and it was possible to walk both to Alnmouth and the local railway station. We also used the local buses to explore the area further.

10.0The perfect house for us to celebrate some special birthdays. Spacious and comfortable, we immediately felt at home. Loved the kitchen/diner area and each bedroom having an en suite was fantastic. The pool table also was an added bonus. Short car journey into Alnmouth for a lovely walk on the beach and 10 mins into Alnwick - great location. Could have stayed all week.

Amazing place, great for families. Very large rooms, all with en-suite. Sue was an amazing host!
