A Sustainable Sanctuary in the Heart of Bandipur
10.0If you are looking for a place that balances raw luxury with a deep respect for nature, Dhole’s Den is it. We recently spent two nights at this incredible eco-lodge, and it was the highlight of our trip to Bandipur. From the moment we arrived, we felt less like "tourists" and more like guests in a very sophisticated, eco-conscious home. The architecture oriented the views of the Nilgiri Mountains. The heart of Dhole’s Den is undoubtedly the people: Ingrid, our Host: Ingrid is an absolute gem. Her passion for conservation and her hospitality are infectious. She has a way of making you feel completely at ease, sharing fascinating stories about the local wildlife and the history of the lodge. The service here is impeccable yet unobtrusive. The staff is genuinely warm and attentive, ensuring every small detail of our stay was perfect. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. If you want to escape the "resort" crowds and experience the wild with a touch of class and a lot of heart, stay at Dhole's Den. Thank you, Ingrid and the entire team, for an unforgettable two days!

9.0The property is located at the edge of the tiger reserve which makes it very much accesible to the safari booking center.
− The only inconvenience is the 1-2 kms stretch which is very rough till the property.
Good to know
The property accommodates children of all ages but has a travel advisory for parents with children below 6 years of age. We do not advise bringing children below 6 years as there is no access to medical facilities and we are located 19 mi from the nearest town. So bringing children below 6 years is purely at the discretion of the parents.
