Lo mejor sin duda las personas, Ali y su familia nos atendieron de forma maravillosa y nos cuidaron estupendamente. Las vistas al valle de las reinas desde nuestra habitación.

親族で経営されている5部屋だけのこぢんまりとした素敵なペンションです。お部屋は清潔でおしゃれでいい匂いがします。シャワーは熱いお湯が出ますし、冷房も効いています。日本人女性でも使える（少なくとも私は使える）クオリティのボディソープとシャンプー、ドライヤーもありました。ハンドソープはエジプトで初めて見たので感激しました（笑）他の方の口コミ通りシャワーカーテンはなくシャワーを浴びると床がかなり濡れてしまいますのでビーチサンダルを持参すると快適に過ごせると思います。他の方の口コミ通り洗濯機も貸していただけました！ オーナーのアリさんとスタッフの皆さんが温かく迎えてくださり、屋上のテラスではホテルで飼われている茶トラ猫のケロバトラー（？）くんが熱烈に接待してくれます。猫さんはテラスにしかいませんので猫嫌いの方であればスタッフの方が追い払ってくれると思います。 特筆すべきは屋上テラスからのVally Viewです。目の前に広がる王妃の谷は圧巻の眺めです。夕日の落ちる谷、夜のライトアップされた谷、朝の気球と谷（ホテルのすぐ前が気球の着地場所）。いつまで見ていても見飽きることのない素晴らしい眺めでした。 ホテルはとても静かなところにあるので、歩いて行ける距離にお店やレストランはありません。ホテルで夕食を食べることになりますが、通いのシェフがエジプトの家庭料理を作ってくださいます（2026年5月現在一人一食12ドル）。 InDriveなどでタクシーを呼ぶのも困難です。このホテルに泊まるときは王家の谷に行くときやEastBankに行くときなどはアリさんに車をアレンジしてもらった方が良いと思います。他のホテルで頼むよりリーズナブルな値段なのではと私は思いました。事前に問い合わせれば値段を教えてくださると思います。 アリさんより、2027年の皆既日食について共有して欲しいとのことでしたのでいただいた情報を日本語訳します。日本人ツーリストにこれからも沢山来て欲しいとのことでした。8月の灼熱のルクソールで皆既日食を観察することを検討されてみてはいかがでしょうか。 2027年8月2日にルクソールで観測される歴史的な皆既日食の詳細は以下の通り（ルクソール現地時間）： 部分日食開始：11時40分（月が徐々に太陽を覆い始めます）。 皆既日食開始（ピーク）：13時02分。 皆既日食終了：13時08分。 部分日食および皆既日食終了：14時26分。 皆既日食の継続時間： 正午の完全な暗闇が6分22秒間続きます。 この日食は21世紀最長の皆既日食として記録され、これほど長時間にわたる皆既日食は2114年まで再び観測されることはありません。

Great local experience at Egyptian family stay

We really enjoyed our stay with Ali and his family. They are great hosts and the hotel offers everything you need. There is a big terrace on top of the building where you have your meals and you can see the hot air-balloons in the early morning that start and land nearby. Our room had a shower with hot water, private toilet and A/C. Breakfast was included in our booking and Ali offers the possibility of dinner for 12 dollars per person. The food was homemade and tasty. Also Ali has a great connection to guides in the area. So he organised our trip to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple und Habu temple. Also he can help with finding a driver/taxi for a reasonable price. We can highly recommend staying at Ali‘s place and would definitely come back another time.

Staying here was such a unique experience and the highlight of our stay in Egypt. This is a boutique hotel that is owned and managed by a Family in the West bank. The architecture of the space when we got in was mind blowing, and the views from the terrace of the desert and the mountain was extremely beautiful. We felt very at peace, in a quiet environment in the village, with fresh air and away from the city noise of the East Bank. We ate freshly made Egyptian food for breakfast and dinner everyday by their chef who was an absolutely great cook. Breakfast with a view of the sunrise behind the mountains and dinner with a view of the sunset behind the mountains was surreal. Ali, our host was the most helpful host I have had. He checked in multiple times to make sure we are very comfortable and helped us book and manage all of our trip and itinerary to Luxor. He had great recommendations, got us the best tour guides, driver, etc at great cost. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable about many times, and our driver Hamdi was very patient. Ali made us feel at home. His little nephew Yessir, who became my friend was absolutely brilliant as well. For his young age, he was very mature, knew how to attend to guest properly and was super helpful during our stay. I met a lot of the family in the next compound and they were all super welcoming. I and the boys played football and spent some time gisting despite the language barrier which was a big highlight for me. We initially booked two nights and ended up staying for four nights. Staying here definitely made our trip in Luxor a lot better and I absolutely recommend it for anyone who likes a calm country side / village vibe that is peaceful, close to all the major attractions, and away from the hustle and bubble of the city life, with homemade Egyptian food, and a breathtaking view of the mountains.
