Lovely accommodation in a quiet village. Communication great and peaceful, relaxing stay.
7.0Arrival and departure instructions were clear and fuss-free. In terms of facilities, the cottage had what we needed for a nice, family stay. Very quiet village so no interruptions or bother during our visit. The complimentary Prosecco was a lovely surprise after a long journey and heating extremely efficient throughout the property.
− The only slight difficulty was the lack of hand towels in the bathrooms and kitchen. There were towels left on the beds, which was brilliant along with towels for the hot tub; however, no hand towels in the downstairs loo or kitchen and no tea towel for the kitchen to dry up dishes. Also, there was no washing up cloth for wiping down surfaces, etc. We visited Tesco on our second day and bought some to use during our stay. We are a very respectful family and just wanted a few nights away from our normal home-life to relax and unwind so the hot tub was an added bonus. We stuck strictly to the rules and never used it after 9pm; however, the neighbours were loudly heard making unfortunate comments about the type of people who use hot tubs. We can assure the owners that we were quiet and respectful. It didn't spoil our stay, just made us feel unwelcome in the garden.

− A very minor thing, we didn't feel it should be up to us to strip the beds. The amount charged reflects a truly luxurious stay which it was, but stripping beds took the shine off. We hadn't quite transitioned in to autumn so there were no logs, fire lighters etc for the log burner which was disappointing but the ability to put on the heating was very welcome instead.
