Stylish 2-Bedroom Apartment In Downtown Windsor♡

Unacceptably dirty and I demand my money back.

Air conditioning was nice. Everything else was covered in garbage. It was like a family of four had been living there for days, and nothing had been cleaned. It had not been cleaned.

− I have pictures. The property had not been cleaned. There were piles of garbage. There were piles of dishes. The surfaces were covered in gunk. There was no toilet paper. All the garbage bins were full. The smoke detector was dangling from its case. The bed sheets had not been changed. I'm not sure the sheets we had to change ourselves from the closet were clean, they weren't even folded... Communications with the host were inefficient, and they did nothing to restore the premises to acceptable standards. I was texted that they were sending a cleaning lady - they "swear" she was coming, but that did not happen. Had the "host" done anything to resolve the situation, this could have been overlooked, but they didn't answer phone calls, and whatever steps they took to resolve the situation - they had no practical effect - the property was unsuitable for guests and had not been cleaned. Completely unacceptable.

I love the kitchen.

− No tv in bedrooms, pillow cases were dirty, the people above sounded as though they were jumping up and down constantly. The noise was almost unbearable. Somebody said the Airbnb is upstairs and the Booking.com is downstairs. Do not book downstairs. The noise was awful. They need rugs or something up there. So for that reason I wouldn't book again.

The space was very cute, super clean, and the bed was comfy. It was within walking distance of everything we needed.

− Whoever was staying above us was very loud and we could hear everything. It made sleep difficult.

Generally, our experience there was very good and I'd stay there again.

Host was excellent answering questions. Location was excellent, too.

− There was no railing at the steps to the basement apartment, which, by building code, there should be. There was no anti-slip coating on the bottom of the bathtub, nor any grab bars. The microwave hadn't been cleaned. There was a note to place dirty dishes in the dishwasher, but there was no dishwasher. The 3 parking spots were taken up (by 4 cars), so we had to park on the side street.

quick, one night stay was good but again, the indoor stairs going down into the apart are dangerous

clean and easy to access

− The stairs upon entering the apartment are dangerous. No hand rails and during winter, there is no mat to absorb the snow and water so one day, somebody is going to slip down those stairs and hurt themselves. It's not up to code because a hand rail on either side is required.
