Amazing location, very nice neighbourhood and good transport connections. The host is friendly, responsive and helpful. She was very flexible with our late checkout. The apartment is indeed spacious.

− This wasn't obvious from the description of the property, but the apartment is normally occupied by the host, they just move out while you are there. While they do a good job to get their things out of the way, it was still an unexpected experience to have someone's food stocked in the fridge and hygiene items in the bathroom. The apartment shows a fair amount of wear and tear, damaged floors and windows, rusty radiators, and cracks in the walls. The cleaning, especially in the bathroom was not thorough enough. Nothing severe, but it does affect the overall atmosphere. It feels lived-in and worn rather than like a professionally maintained accommodation. Overall, the apartment was still perfectly acceptable, and the location could easily have compensated for the cosmetic issues if it weren’t for the price. In the three weeks prior to this stay, we stayed in brand-new, professionally maintained apartments in the same area, all in pristine condition. Compared with those, this apartment was of noticeably lower quality, yet it was the most expensive by a margin.

Very homely and quiet. Couch is really comfortable to relax. Helpful owner of the property who checked in a few times to make sure things were ok. Nice cafes and restaurants around the area and village feel.

− Poor lighting in the night time which was tricky when getting luggage down / up the stairs ( two rows of stairs) I assumed there would be body wash / shampoo / conditioner. There wasn’t so had to purchase this.

This is a comfortable and stylish place to stay in an idyllic location, but not so swanky that it is out of our budget. We really liked it and would return

− We are tall people and the double bed was on the small side for us; we really need a Kingsize bed.
