Although there are four other lodges in the area, each one feels private and nicely secluded. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was well designed and functional for the cabin’s size, and the air conditioning was a lovely touch. The location is truly what makes this place special, with the surrounding countryside, wildlife, cows, and sheep creating a peaceful atmosphere. On a clear night, the night sky is absolutely stunning. We would highly recommend this stay for solo travelers or couples looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

− Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was warm, comfortable, and well equipped with kitchen facilities such as a kettle, toaster, and stove, and we felt it offered good value. We chose to pay an additional $50 for a late checkout at 12pm, which we appreciated as it allowed us some extra time in the morning. Unfortunately, the late checkout experience didn’t feel as relaxed as we had hoped. The hosts arrived at the property around 11:55 am to begin cleaning the lodges, which made us feel a little rushed and unsure whether we were still welcome to remain until the agreed checkout time. This created some unnecessary pressure, particularly given that we had paid extra for the later checkout. It also appeared that checkout times are managed quite strictly, as there was a clearly displayed sign inside the lodge outlining the standard 10am checkout policy. While we understand the need for clear rules, a bit more flexibility or reassurance around late checkouts would have made the experience more comfortable.
