Wasn't what we expected or paid for there wasn't wasn't a mirror why u got ready in the room The place smelt funny Will not be coming back

− Didn't like anything Very strange place layout and uncomfortable feeling I actually was debating finding another hotel but just though as it was a short stay we would get some sleep and drive straight home instead

There were many towels, bed was comfortable

− Having to ring doorbell to get into property when we arrived - what if no one was in to get the door? Couple that are living here in one of the rooms do not speak English. Little communication from landlord beforehand meant it was very hard to understand what we could and couldn’t use. We were not aware they lived here and the woman was quite rude. Didn’t acknowledge my questions when I spoke and said very little to us. No soap in toilet and only one toilet roll to last 3 nights. Main shower head does not work. Every time the front door opens there is a chime that plays. Even if it is 10:30 at night. Says room with a garden view. There was no garden view Says there is a TV, there is no TV in our particular room. The room we stayed in wasn’t pictured in there advert so we were mislead when booking. We were carrying stuff in from the car and we got told we needed to lock the front door, despite not being finished getting stuff in, so the woman who lives here insisted she show us how to lock a door. She tried to make us go outside in the rain to lock the door. Very thin walls. A couple stayed here on our first night here and all we could hear all night was their TV. When the couple left (we stayed for a further 2 nights after they did) the room was left open and not cleaned. This included the rubbish from the takeaway the couple ordered. Room dusty and had cobwebs in the corners with sticky residue on the bed frame. No mirror in bedroom and no regular plug socket in bathroom. If you want to use hair styling products or hairdryer then you couldn’t. No fan in a very hot room. Front door very hard to open and shut. No shoes allowed around the house. Landlord gave us a different check in time than booking.com gave us. Told we could have top two spots in the fridge, but when another couple checked in, they got told they could use one of the top shelf’s.

It was so smart and with lovely decor and the bed was so comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and sweet.
