Comfortable & set in a quiet picturesque location.
8.0On arrival my Wife was suffering Sciatica & found it difficult to step up on the Bed so we had to abandon our trip. Our host was very understanding & went the extra mile by honoring a refund & providing suitable accommodation alternatives in the area. Although we didnt stay overnight the Shepherd Hut looked comfortable, was set in quiet picturesque location.
− Nothing bar the Dining Chairs in the Shepherd's Hut need replacing.
Comfy Escape
9.0What a wonderful Shepherd's Hut. A lot of thought has been put in to ensure you have everything for a two person stay. The tea, coffee and milk on arrival was very welcome. Wifi was iffy but a radio in the hut meant we could listen to the Football World Cup. Wood was supplied for the outside firepit. An email on the morning before arrival with all necessary information was sent. Thank you to the Shepherds Hut for thinking of everything - oh and when it gets chilly (we didn't use it) there is underfloor heating!
− Car sat nav and phone sat nav could not locate the Hut. Roads were closed around the area. We ended up at a farm where we were kindly directed to the Hut. Detailed instructions rather than just a post code could be useful.

8.0Wij vonden het erg leuk om in deze wagen te slapen. Het was brandschoon en het bed was prima. De omgeving was prachtig en de overnachting een ervaring!
− We hebben lang moeten zoeken naar de locatie, het was op Google Maps niet te vinden. De wagen staat in de tuin van de eigenaren. De tuin is behoorlijk groot. Toen wij even door de tuin liepen om naar de mooie zonsondergang te kijken, werd ons, door de eigenaar, op een onvriendelijke manier, medegedeeld dat dit niet de bedoeling was. Wellicht kan beter aangegeven worden tot waar je je mag begeven. Helaas hadden wij heel veel last van vliegen. Het vliegengordijn in de deur sloot niet goed af en voor de ramen zaten geen horren. Gevolg was dat we eerst geruime tijd op vliegenjacht moesten gaan.
