A very special hotel - definitely worth a visit!
10.0El Castillo is a real gem. We stayed here for 11 nights and it felt more like a private villa than a hotel. The staff were amazing, the rooms are very comfortable and the view is breathtaking. The hotel’s restaurant is very good, and there are plenty of dining options in the vicinity, if you feel like dining out - we found three in Ojochal alone. There are beautiful local beaches and there is plenty to do in the vicinity, but I would recommend a hire car. All in all a very special Hotel in a special part of the world. Definitely worth a visit!
Beautiful boutique hotel
10.0everything excellent. Cocktails by the pool, excellent food, very friendly and attentive staff. We especially liked the architecture, beautiful windows and doors, all wood, most places in Costa Rica are too modern now for our taste. This hotel had a very nice tropical design. We didn't even use the airco, just the fan and open windows.
