We had a wonderful stay at Villa Fénix and would definitely recommend it. The view is absolutely stunning. Watching the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening from the villa was one of the highlights of our trip. We were pleasantly surprised to find Rituals shampoos and shower gels. Many places try to save on details like this, so it was a really nice touch. The villa was spotless and had everything we needed for cooking: plenty of kitchen utensils, appliances, and even spices. A special mention goes to the excellent refrigerator with filtered water and an ice dispenser—having cold water and ice available at any time was incredibly convenient. There is plenty of space, and the layout is perfect for four or more people. The furniture is comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring Madeira. Jessica was an outstanding host. She provided clear instructions for arrival, check-in, and check-out, and was always available whenever we had a question. If you’re looking for a beautiful, comfortable villa to enjoy with family or friends, this is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again.

− Вот хороший, объективный текст на The biggest downside for us was the BBQ. The issue wasn’t cleanliness or convenience—it was the design. There isn’t enough airflow to the charcoal. The only air intake is the small opening used to add charcoal, while the exhaust works very well. As a result, the charcoal never burned properly and produced almost no heat. We had to constantly fan the coals by hand to keep them burning. We tried using fire starters and lighter gel, but neither helped. The gel burned away, while the charcoal continued to smolder with very little heat. The meat and sausages ended up dry and burnt on the outside because it was impossible to maintain a proper cooking temperature. We are currently staying at another villa with a similar BBQ area, and it works perfectly, so we believe this is a design issue with the grill itself. Since having a BBQ was an important part of our vacation, this was a significant disappointment. A few smaller things we noticed: * There were no beer glasses. * There were no paper towels in the kitchen. * The villa is most convenient if you have a car. Public transportation in the area is quite limited and not very convenient. Other than these points, we really enjoyed our stay.
