A fabulous, relaxed location for a memorable family holiday.
9.0Beautiful villa in a gorgeous spot overlooking a small valley and with views to the sea. The pool area is large and the infinity pool is big enough for the whole family. Bedrooms are all large and the beds are comfortable. Air conditioning in each bedroom and the lounge/dining area. Each bedroom has an en suite, plus there’s a ground floor loo. It’s the perfect location for a family holiday in a quiet resort with not too many tourists. The nearest beach is a 10-15 minute walk. It’s downhill, but the hill isn’t too steep. Lidl is also walking distance (15-20 minutes) and a Comfort Uber to get home from Lidl, or the beach, is €5.60. They come really quickly. Algarve Vacations provide great customer service and respond quickly, 24/7.
− Not enough shade in the pool area in the middle of the day and into the evening. Could do with more than one sun umbrella as the awning doesn’t do much to help once the sun is moving from South to West. Plastic glasses/beakers for the pool area would be very welcome. The window blinds are not blackout, so you need an eye mask of you’re sensitive to light in the mornings. A villa is being built to the left of this one, so there was some construction noise during our stay. Not too intrusive most days, and the majority of us went to the beach so we didn’t hear it, but I imagine it will get noisy if the work ramps up.
