Amazing views, great wellness facilities, with plenty of logs provided for hot tub, etc. Perfect spot for a getaway.

We couldn't access the external third bedroom - none of the keys provided fit the lock. We only needed two bedrooms, so it was grand, but we would have liked the choice of all three bedrooms.

We had an amazing stay. Everything was so perfect. I thought for a really old cottage it wasn't going to be as clean as what it was. Only thing I will say is to bring a lighter and matches for the hot tub as when we went to start the hot tub we couldn't find any and had to go back to the shop so this would save any hassle of that.

Wonderful traditional Irish comfy cottage with exceptional amenities and exceptional views. Loved it

The property is wonderfully traditional. Loved everything about it. The beds were comfy, the sauna was amazing, and loved the wee traditional fire. Overall we absolutely loved the property and had the best time.

Property was a little tricky to find from main Head Road. Never heard from the host, we had to ring to even find out where the keys were. The hottub wasn’t heated when we arrived, and with no experience or guidance on how to use it, we ended up over heating it and couldn’t use it. It also took us some time to work out the sauna. We had to google it. But a wee information book by owner left for visitors would quickly resolve all this for future visitors. Also, the signs are all still up from it being a cafe, we even had people knock on door asking if we were open on Monday morning 😂

Beautiful surroundings but not as advertised. Not 3 bedrooms

5.0

The location and views were stunning. Hot tub, sauna and plunge pools great. Stunning area. Couldn't find wifi password and host was very fast responding to messages.

We booked on the basis of 3 bedrooms as advertised on this site. There is only 2 bedrooms! This obviously effects value for money. We (my wife and i) travelled with 2 teenage sons who both shared one of the double beds, which isnt ideal. Second bed is a small double which we didnt find comfortable. The result was one of us sleeping on the sofa, not what you want for a break. The beds are far too soft for our liking but im well aware this is personal preference. Place could have been cleaner. Cobwebs, dirty shelves in kitchen and a lot of dust. I am aware however that it is an old cottage and not expecting impeccable. A few small changes it could have been amazing but 2 bedrooms instead of 3 is an error that shouldn't have happened and did alter how our stay went. My wife and I would like to visit again but I dont think I could cope with the super soft bed. Water cut out during showers on 2 occasions but back on again a couple of minutes later.
