Great location in the centre of Newcastle an close to the best restaurants and pubs! House is well appointed with everything provided for a comfortable stay.

− Communication with the owners was poor. We asked a number of questions but didn’t receive any responses. It didn’t spoil the stay but was frustrating.

Quirky, individual, much bigger than it looks, and a fabulous en-suite room in the roof. Location was excellent, just between the main shopping street and the beach, on a quiet side road. The downstairs lounge, dining and kitchen space was a great social area. For us, it was a perfect chill out space for a few days either side of a wedding. It felt like a home away from home.

− Loved the quirky individuality of the house which felt homely and lived in, although with this came a few odd things like door handles that didn’t quite work. The bunk bed room with all the toys is definitely made for kids, but we were an adult party. Perhaps a floor towel mat for after shower would be helpful. However, I want to stress that none of this mattered. We all loved our stay very much, and truly enjoyed this spacious, individual and homely place.

If we were going to live in Newcastle we would choose this house, loved it.

This was the best property I have stayed at in Newcastle. It was really comfortable, clean, homely and the beach was about 2 minutes away. There was eveything you could possibly need and it was dog friendly, we were sad to leave. We had a great time and would definitely book to stay here again.

− If I had to be really picky, I would have liked somewhere to hang up clothes.

− Overall house wasn't cleaned kitchen was filthy dirty cloths left in sink bin hadn't been emptied toaster was rusty crumbs everywhere kettle was grubby food in fridge from previous guests workbench hadn't been washed particles of food on kitchen floor which hadn't been brushed or washed bed linen had seen better days I'd booked 4 nights left after 2 nights I definitely wouldn't recommend it

The location of the property was ideal for all local amenities that we would tend to use. One of my family is ultra marathon training so the Mournes on the doorstep had a couple of visits over the weekend. The house from the outside looks compact, however on entering there is ample space within the whole accommodation, all household facilities were greatly appreciated. We had ourselves a great family get together weekend. Highly Recommended
