7.0I liked the fact that the apartment is newly renovated, very clean and well equipped. The beds and pillows are comfortable. One can treat himself with either a fondue or raclette. A private parking place is very convenient in this far away from the center place.
− Check-in not earlier than 5 pm seems to me too late. I have never seen it anywhere recently, even though I travel a lot. The explanation is that it gives enough time for cleaning between 11am and 5 pm. For me it is a sign that the hosts are more cleaner-oriented than client-oriented. Automatic check-in and check-out is very popular these days, however it is more typical to some large towns and cities. In a small village like Leukerbad it looks and feels out of place. Leukerbad has always been famous for its hospitality and personal approach to tourists. Receiving dozens of automatic messages cannot replace a human contact. By the way, the amount of automatic messages is overwhelming. I even received one with instructions on how to check-out one day after my real check-out date. The location is convenient if you are in a good physical form. For people who are not used to climbing steep hills it might quite be challenging.
