Ground floor basic spacious apartment.
6.0The location - across the road to the beach front park, comfortable bed, lots of hot water, Smart TV & fast Wifi. Good new crockery and new SMEG cooker.
− Ground floor flat on busy main road means traffic noise from 5.30am - ear plugs needed. Old towels, no hand towels or facecloths provided, no condiments (salt & pepper) Superficially clean (I had specifically messaged in advance & received assurances it was cleaned thoroughly) but skirting boards, doors and inside cupboards were still very dirty. Old cutlery - tarnished and looked unhygienic.

− We were given the wrong entry code and wasn’t a straight forward fix. When we eventually got inside there was a nasty, fishy smell that we couldn’t air out of the place. It was strong and made us feel sick. We ended up going somewhere else. The place was dirty and the bedrooms were really small. One didn’t have a door.

− In hot weather need to have street windows open to cool bedroom, so room is unsecured. We didn't have any problems, but it was a bit unsettling at first. Rare to have weather that hot so probably not normally an issue.
Loved our stay in the Art Deco "cutie:
8.0It was a lovely place to stay, great location, although a bit out of town (we had a car - no problem) Comfortable bed and well catered for home. Worth a mention ....a train goes past twice a day (just over the back fence) We thought it was fun!!
− The back door (where you enter the property) needs a number on the door....to make it clear that you are pumping the code in the correct keypad (as we found the keypad tricky!!!)
Was brilliant- perfect place to stay.
10.0Very simple, but very cute. Right on the beachfront, walking distance to town. Beds were comfortable and it was very easy to be in.
− The blinds at the front need to be charged. We were there on a very hot day and the key pad I think overheated and we couldn't access the house so we had to climb in a window. And there were a few ants in lounge that need baiting.
