Worth the stay just for the hosts
7.0The hosts were incredible - accommodating and kind. Elephantine is a very unique place, our room was large and even had a steamer for clothes. If you are AT ALL interested in birds, take the boat tour. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours.
− It's at the bottom of Elephantine and there isn't much else around there. The building has 2 hotels in it, and the owner of the other one was...less than pleasant...when we ran into him on the rooftop. The bathroom for our room wasn't in the room, a small inconvenience, but worth noting!

6.0− While the establishment claims a Nubian-inspired style, it is significantly in need of maintenance—particularly regarding the sanitary facilities, which are subpar. The interior furnishings of the room are similarly lacking. Overall, the current condition by no means justifies the room rate charged.
