9.0Location was great - nice village with a local pub. It is right on the edge of a lovely stream with a waterfall. Hosts were lovely too. We had a fire with wood which was a nice touch.

10.0Extremely clean, water pressure and temperature of shower and bath were brilliant. Spacious and easy to find, close to shops but need to drive. Had great facilities,everything you need was there.

10.0A perfect stay – we didn’t want to leave! Our family had a truly wonderful time at Afonfa – the accommodation was so comfortable and welcoming that we honestly didn’t want to leave. With plenty of space across three bedrooms, it was ideal for us as a family. A thoughtful touch was the additional toilet facilities on the ground floor, which made things extra convenient. The kitchen is fantastic—well-equipped and spacious—and I was genuinely sorry not to make full use of it. The outdoor patio area was a lovely spot to unwind with a pint, and there are many scenic walks starting right from the doorstep. Our hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and always available without ever being intrusive. A lovely example of their hospitality was when they invited my husband to join the local running club for an evening run, which he thoroughly enjoyed. As environmentally conscious travellers, we were especially pleased to see the use of eco-friendly cleaning products and a strong focus on recycling. It’s great to see a place that values sustainability. We would absolutely recommend Afonfa to anyone looking to explore Snowdonia. It's a perfect base with all the comforts of home—and more!
