Great location, nice staff.

− The room is very tiny, and there’s not much space for storage. The bathroom needs at least one towel hanger, as mine was very unstable.

Liked the AC and kitchen access. Easy to find.

− Loud neighborhood. Property not well maintained. They don’t invest in simple things like a shower curtain or bathroom rug. The kitchen is poorly equipped and the house poorly built. Very thin walls, you hear everything from the other rooms. The pool was dirty and half full. VERY SMALL room. Uncomfortable pillows and cheap sheets. The towels were so bad quality they fall apart when you dried with them. The bathroom switch had all the wires exposed and was popping very dangerously. The owner ignored me when I messaged via WhatsApp to report the problem. They clearly don’t invest money in giving a good experience to guests and maintaining the house. So much could improve. You can feel the lack of love and care. Everything in the house is poorly done, painted and finished. A shame.

The interior design is nice. Someone put a lot of heart in it with all the cute decorations. Huge pottential.

− The plumbing in the villa had a big problems so all 3 upstairs rooms were using 1 common bathroom although all of us booked private bathrooms.

La Carenero is a great Island, water taxi is easy to get and takes less then one minute, costs 1USD. Ask for the Dock with the supermarket. Nice host. Recommend to walk the Island trail (good shoes). Note: The house is on the area of the Island, where locals live. There is one balcony for all guests, please note that the sea view is hidden by plants.

− It's sometimes loud, you feel like being in the living room of the neighbors. Extremely high humidity in the room. Could be cleaner. Just equipped with a shelf and a bed.

We had such a good time here! Lovely room, very friendly host, lovely terrace area to chill/dry clothes! Good aircon, comfy beds, feels very safe! Generally a lovely place to stay

− Kitchen equipment could do with a bit of a refresh but not really an issue.
