A place to relax and rest.
10.0We loved being surrounded by nature and the walk through the forest to the bay. The kids loved the birds, ducks, and the little rabbits around the garden.
− Some of the idol images on the walls
Loved it :)

6.0This property could be really nice and a great stay however we arrived with no basics and for the price you would expect the hosts to have this sorted.. Pros - hosts were very responsive and did provide options and cash back when I raised concerns. - beds were very comfy - house its self is every nice and so are the surroundings.
− This property could be really nice and a great stay however we arrived with no basics and for the price you would expect the hosts to have this sorted. Con’s - There was no wood, kindling or paper to light the fire on the first night and this is the only source of heating in the middle of winter so it was cold. The host was very responsive and advised there is some the shed and they could deliver some tomorrow and did provide some cash back. - no coffee, sugar or tea - a heads up on this before getting to the property would of been nice. Hosts advised there’s a coffee machine if we want to get some however no one wants to go on a 2 day stay and buy there own packets of coffee, tea and sugar for 2 days. Most places provide this and having this would have made a hole lot of difference. - the remote to the tv was dead, hosts advised its solar however we had to charge it up to use. - There was a mice inside, this did not actually bother me as you are surrounded by nature so obvs animals are out and about however on top of everything that lacked this just shows little effort is being put into maintaining anything here.

9.0The peace and quiet
Superb
9.0great place to stay, super comfy beds and we loved the fireplace as it got a bit wet on Saturday
A very enjoyable two days.
8.0Lovely peaceful bush setting, easy access back to Parua and Whangarei Heads and Ocean Beach. You may want to rethink the ‘wooden mats’, a bit of a risk for mobility impaired older guests.
