The Kings Head Pub, Welshpool, GB
Great
10.0The room and helpfulness of the bar staff.
− No towels in the room
Highly recommended
10.0Great location for touring around Wales doing day trips, great pub with fab staff and good ales. Room was basic, but clean with Tea/coffee making facilities and a TV. Very friendly landlord and staff, very helpful on advice about where to go and what to see. locals up for a chat as well.good food when we ate there.
− Nothing, but if you're a family, it's best to check the kitchen times etc Only a 5 min drive into Welshpool for alternatives.

Very good
8.0Travelled for a birthday celebration close proximity for venue , ceiling fan was a bonus with heat nice shower and comfy beds
− No access to main light , or able to reach bedroom window if we had have needed to alter it .
Really enjoyable. Would definitely go again
9.0Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly.
− There was no music in the bar when i was dining which was fine but when I retired to my room there was some quite heavy drum and bass playing until 11.30pm. As I was on my own it was bearable.
Suitable for a one night stay to break up our journey.
7.0Easy to get to. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Room was clean.
− The outside seating area for the pub was just below our window and it was quite noisy until late. I should have researched this better. No proper welcome and handed our keys back to a handyman in the morning. Entrance and stairs to the hotel part of the pub needs attention as this was quite off putting.
