Place under renovation, not possible to check in due to fresh smell of paint

− The location was under renovation. We got in contact in the morning to tell them we arrive at 4 or 5 PM and they said is OK. At 3PM, when we called them 1 hour before arrival as they had requested us, they asked us to do the check in at 8PM. At 8PM, they send us a message that we got an upgrade to a different address, than the one from booking.com. We had a late dinner and arrived at the upgraded accommodation at 11.30 PM and surprise! Voices were heard in the apartment, we thought we came to the wrong address. The painters were still in the apartment! The cleaning ladies were cleaning the floors. In apartment the smell was of fresh paint. No possibility of staying there overnight due to the smell. Probably the building was not ready for accommodation. They said that they had a big group which messed up the place, but we think it was just an excuse. All the apartment building was under construction/renovation. At midnight with no possibility of taking the accommodation due to freshly painted apartment and still dirty floors from paint, we started to look for hotels. At least we had a full refund.

− Przegapiliśmy termostaty po przyjeździe. Przestawiliśmy je dopiero przed pójściem spać i było dość długo zimno.
