Modernes Haus in Gran Alacant, sehr sauber, gut steuerbare Klimaanalage, Pool sauber und Ende Juni 30 Grad, man findet vor und neben dem Haus immer einen Schattenplatz. Grillmöglichkeit. Supermärkte und Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar. FKK Strände die uns gefallen haben: Playa Elche 4,4 km, und vor allem Platja El Rebello 19 km. Flughafen Alicante in der Nähe störte uns nicht!

− Die Häuser sind eng aneinander gebaut. Wenn irgend jemand dort Party in der Nacht macht wird es unangenehm. Auch der Stellplatz für unser Auto vor der Tür musste ganz genau eingehalten werden, sonst konnte die Nachbarin Vis a vis nicht mit ihrem Auto wegfahren. An die Alarmanlage sollte man sich rasch gewöhnen, auch daran den Schlüssel außen anzustecken, sonst gibt es nach dem Baden im Pool böses Erwachen. Zum Strand benötigt man ein Auto, ! Die N 332 kann mitunter etwas stören.

A beautiful villa let down by seven days of inconsistent running water and poorly maintained facilit

There are some positives to this property. The villa itself is lovely, the location is convenient for the airport, beaches and local town, and key collection/check-out were straightforward. The owner was polite and did provide bottled water once the issues were raised.

− Unfortunately, the negatives significantly impacted our stay. The property suffered from inconsistent running water for the entire 7-night holiday. Water would stop and start randomly throughout the week, affecting showering, cooking, cleaning and general day-to-day use of the villa. Bottled water was provided as a temporary workaround, but this did not resolve the issue. The kitchen equipment was also disappointing. Pots and pans were heavily worn, stained and some were not suitable for the induction hob provided. When this was raised, we were advised that the property mainly caters for couples who eat out. Other issues included rough towels, rusty sun loungers, a broken parasol, algae around parts of the pool and even loose screws found in the pool area. The neighbouring property could also be quite noisy in the evenings. One final point for future guests: the villa is located on a very new development and our sat nav could not locate the address on arrival. Advance warning from the host would have been helpful. It is a shame because the villa itself has a lot of potential and is in a great location, but the lack of reliable running water throughout the stay and the overall standard of some facilities meant our experience fell well below expectations.
