Amazing location and view from the apartment Central to restaurants, beach, supermarket Easy way to check in without face-to-face (however lockbox probably needs to replaced as it was hard to open) Great to have 2 beds available Appreciated the availability of towels (pool and bath), shampoo/soap, some milk, additional sheets etc.

− Beds and pillows were way too soft Cleaning of the floor could be more thorough A small vacuum available would be great A dishwashing sponge available would help

Stunning views and everything you need

The apartment was well set out with most of what we needed and you just can't beat that view. Well positioned to access everything on the Strand.The curtains were great at blocking the morning sun out. The hosts were both lovely and told us everything we needed to know.

− The only thing and it is very minor is that there was only one blanket amongst the bed and sofa bed but we just turned the aircon off and it was fine

Its location on the Strand was very convenient and it was nice to open up the curtains and see the water every morning. Price per night was reasonable.

− I was not able to find a parking space in the car park on any of the 5 evenings I stayed which was incredibly frustrating. Given youth crime in Townsville I was loathe to park my near new hire car on the street but had to. The lack of parking was a real inconvenience on check out day when I had to drag my suitcase some distance to the car. What was worse was the bed bug infestation in my apartment which has left me with a considerable amount of bites. The room needs an urgent professional treatment.
