Lovely stay in Southwold
7.0Lovely property and in a quiet area. Spacious and well equipped. The upstairs toilet was a bonus
− We felt there should be warning tape on the step down into the kitchen. The pots and cutlery weren’t clean. We had to wash everything we used. The upstairs toilet wasn’t very clean either. We felt we should have been warned about the bath being higher than usual at it was difficult to get in and out of.

An okay cottage but in need of an upgrade. Quite expensive for what you get.

− Quite a basic house for the money. No milk or even a bottle of water when we arrived on a very hot day. We asked if we could arrive an hour earlier but we're told this would cost an extra £25 and leaving an hour later would also have been £25. The beds were very low to the ground, and the curtains and blinds didn't block out the light at all. We ended up leaving really early. Quite a grubby sofa, and some of the bed cushions were also soiled. Dirty fingerprints all over the doors.

9.0Great location, nice furniture and appliances. Charming garden. The management team dealt promptly and sympathetically when we left a special pillow at the property.
− All four of us are 70 plus, so the steep stairs and lowish beds were a challenge, but not enough to lower our opinion of the property. A strong hand rail on the bath would be useful.
