− The property itself was acceptable but damp and strongly smelt it, the surrounding area made the stay uncomfortable. Directly across the road was a hostel housing ex-convicts, and many of the nearby buildings were run-down or shut down, which made the area feel quite rough. There was also a business directly below the apartment that appeared to groom or wash dogs, and it was often very noisy with dogs barking throughout the day. During my stay, I had people knock on my door twice late at night — once individuals who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, and another time drunk people trying to get in, which was quite unsettling. Parking was technically free, but the area didn’t feel secure. I personally would not feel comfortable leaving an expensive car parked there.
