Beautiful location, beautiful view
9.0The location and the view over the Chianti hills is the chief selling point of this property. It is peaceful, surrounded by nature, vineyards and olive groves, and very rural (accessed by a 3km track off the main road). However, it is easy to reach the supermarkets and motorway at Poggibonsi (about 15-20 minutes) and to visit Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and the other villages in the Chianti hills within 1 hour or less. The house is comfortable, spacious, and the kitchen well equipped to cook, and we enjoyed having the garden to sit outside and soak in the view.
− In early May the evenings and early mornings were chilly, which we hadn't quite appreciated, and there wasn't any heating on - we had only looked at the likely daytime temperatures! This is a stone-built house, so probably stays lovely and cool in the summer. Bathrooms are small but it is a bonus to have 2.

10.0Amazing place with very nice hosts. The apartment was clean, fully furnished and very specious. The attached garden is very pretty and allows some privacy as well. The swimming pool and tennis court are easily accessible. We had great time and I hope to go back next year.
− Traveling without a car to and from Granaio is practically impossible so shall be taken into account when you're planning your stay in the area.

− 1 normal towel and one tiny one per person, but for 5 days Had to keep washing them and then ironing them dry otherwise they weren’t usable for your next shower

9.0Mooi domein en zwembad. Wel groter domein dan verwacht, 27 appartementen. Maar, je hebt je volledig aparte mooie ruime tuin, dus volledig geen last of inkijk van buren. We genoten van de rust. Het huis is voorzien van alle comfort.
− De weg naar het domein was de eerste keer wel verschieten... Erg stijl met diepe putten. We leerden al snel om in eerste versnelling naar boven te rijden. Dag drie van ons verblijf werden de diepste putten aangepakt. De eigenaar vertelde dat er werken aan de weg gepland zijn.
