Girls break, cheap and cheerful, would stay again at the price we paid.

Very close to the station, easy to find

Cold - took us ages to get the heaters to work. Could do with another sofa/chairs as it sleeps 7 and there’s only enough comfortable seating for 4. Aldo, smelt very strongly of cooking - sofa cushions and floor could do with a good fabric clean.

Very good location very close to town and the beach front, underground parking so did not need to worry about finding somewhere to park great value for money we had a very comfortable stay once we figured out the heating

Although there is underground parking you have to go up to the apartment to retrieve a key fob which lets you in and when you leave you need to return this

The apartment was big , tastefully decorated with lovely furniture. In centre off town near shops cafes, super markets. Bed comfy ,pillows super soft .The fair and super big free park for big and little kids ,follow a path round by the lake, before you get to the fair youl get to a shopping area with Mattaland ,kFC ,Macdonlds and across the road the beach .The boating lake good ,20 min boat ride £6 adults, £5 kids ,was wind when we went but nice .pedlos also .

The instructions given to me on booking .com to get into the apartment were very confusing ,it says go through the main entrance, the lifts in front off you which was correct, it's says go to 4th floor, Definitely no 4th floor on lift ,just 2nd floor ,we were in apartment 28.to get there was like a bit off a maze you definitely have to figure it out yourself. The lock box a bit off a stretch to reach over stairs case .It was cold in the night we couldn't figure out heating looked like storage heaters ,although the apartment was clean ,the kitchen bin wouldn't shut .Definitely damp issues in onsuite bathroom which had very old window frames ,so old you could see daylight through the cracks off wood ,shame this and damp let it down .or would have given it 8 /10. Last off all when we arrived the next morning I was phoned by someone on behalf off owners to ask if I would be in between 11-12 am as the contractors and owners would be coming to check the damp issues ,I said we would be in but they never came and I said we are on holiday why should we do this anyway that was a bit off an inconvenience. Tip from me have a manual with instructions on how to use radiators tv etc , it's only polite as we are paying customers.

Superb base to explore Southport.

Situated in a fantastic location, close to everything we had a wonderful stay. The apartment was roomy and spacious and was equipped with everything we needed, making it an enjoyable stay. The host was fantastic with instructions and information about accessing the building.

The apartment needs a little sprucing with broken bathroom tiles and rust on the radiator but did not affect the stay and the rest was well decorated and spacious. A little complicated at accessing the building initially but we soon got used to where we were going and found taking the lift to the ground floor and using the side red door far easier!

Great location but will not return.

3.0

The location is central to most everything in Southport.

The property is run down and showing its age. The ensuite bath had broken and flickering lights, the shower door doesn’t work, the towel rail is covered in rust. The two double beds are very uncomfortable, could feel the springs when you moved. The kitchen had water damage and peeling paint. No love or attention has been given to this property. Parking is not ideal, it’s easier and much cheaper to park at the train station just up the street.
