Charming apartment with large terrace conveniently located for exploring Tuscany's attractions

The appartment is located in the 1st floor surrounded by a large terrace with a nice view over the tuscany landscape with San Gimignano's skyline. The house is well equipped with everything you need, a large sofa, seating and table on the terrace, a washing machine, air conditioning (which we didn't need in October) etc. All doors and windows are protected by mosquito screens, providing fresh air good ventilation without the risk being bitten by mosquitoes ;-) Although, the friendly hosts are living on the ground floor, we enjoyed full privacy, except cookies to welcome us and a bottle of Vernaccia, when we said good bye. The location is close to San Gimignano and Certaldo and also ideal for day trips to Volterra, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Florence etc.

A very pleasant stay

We really enjoyed our stay in La Fonte di Francesca. It was calm and cosy. The location is perfect for visiting the main Tuscany sites. The apartment was very nice, clean, and fully equipped (kitchen (a lot of pots, utensils, some spices), bathroom (3 towels per person, hair dryer, shampoo)). From the terrace, you can see a beautiful panoramic with San Gimignano. It's generally quiet, but during the night, the dogs and birds are a bit noisy. The beds were comfortable but also quite hard. The WiFi connection was perfect :))

− The entrance to the property is not well visible from the road, and it's on a curve, so it's a bit dangerous. To get to the location, follow the instructions from the host (Google Maps shows it wrong). There were also some spider webs around the apartment. One other minor minus is that the best view is from the side that doesn't have a window. The apartment also doesn't get too much sunlight in general.

My whole family was extremely satisfied with the property; it offered breathtaking views, and the host was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others.
