5.0The location is undoubtedly its biggest asset.
− Lack of instructions, which a place like this (fire place, gas hob, cassette toilet) should have in our view. Yes, the owners provided some instructions over WhatsApp, but a short leaflet on site would have been useful. The bed was much too soft for our comfort. The most disappointing however was the lack of hot water due to the owners having forgotten to replace the gas bottle. To their credit, the owners were receptive and came to change the bottle as soon as they could. At this point however we thought it was too much trouble for a two night stay and decided to change accommodation.
Wonderful location, charming barge, clean and cosy with a hot shower and lovely responsive owner.
9.0The owner was so helpful and responsive and made sure I was OK the next morning because I was travelling alone. Bed is lovely and comfy, shower was lovely and hot, location is so central so earplugs helped me to sleep. It's solar powered so no fridge and basic lighting, charging facilities which might be a problem for longer stays but for my 1 night it was fine. Would definitely recommend.

− It wasn’t value for money. Needs a manual, door lock difficult to use until you work it out, wasn’t aware there wasn’t electric, bed on a slope, had to work out the boiler as shower cold at first. Instructions would have been useful
