The location was good, but Knightsbridge has become very unsafe. A man was stabbed to death just down the road from us whilst staying there.

− Nowhere when booking do they inform you that the apartment is on the top floor, seven flights of stairs with a two year old and a 3 year old and two push prams everyday is NOT convenient, never mind all the luggage you have to try get up with no elevator. We stayed for 9 nights, I feel they should tell you this when they see you are booking for two adults and two toddlers. We only were informed the night before checking in. It advertises a microwave, which they don’t have. There’s no aircon and it was HOT! The shower head was broken, there were no dish towels to dry any dishes - when asked, there was no cleaner close by, so they eventually brought two days later. They advertise it as 80sqm, which I’m not sure it is (maybe including the staircase). Overall we weren’t very satisfied and won’t be back.

− Unfortunately, I must say that our experience was not as we had hoped, especially considering the incident at check-in. We were supposed to collect the keys at 3 pm but they didn’t show up until 3.30 pm and let us wait in front of the key collector point. Additionally, there were a few important issues that impacted our stay: • The pipe in the bathroom is leaking, and water was constantly on the floor. • The coffee machine had no adapter or necessary parts, so we couldn’t use it at all. • The listing did not mention that the apartment is on the top floor without an elevator, which made our arrival quite difficult.

Unsafe for kids, misleading listing, filthy floor mat conditions, and staff dishonesty—avoid at all costs!

− 1/10 – Appalling & Unsafe for Families – Avoid! Our stay was deeply disappointing and outright unsafe for our family. The apartment violates basic UK habitability standards (Building Regs Part K & HHSRS), with severe hazards for children (4 yr old): - Dangerous staircase: An open, steep staircase with no railings or barriers in the hallway posed a constant fall risk for our child. - Unsafe windows: Excessive heat (no AC in the apartment) forced us to keep windows open, but the low height and lack of guards created another fall hazard (from the highest apartment!) The listing was misleading: - Filthy floor mats (not shown in photos) reeked of must. - 6 flights of stairs, not 4 as advertised. - Staff exploited us: A porter refused to return £10 change after overcharging for luggage help, claiming he "didn’t speak English" (yet understood the payment). - Beds were very uncomfortable We had to vacate early due to the risks, but the host refused a refund for unstayed nights despite the legal safety violations. This property is not family-friendly and ignores duty of care. Do not book.
