A great location, equidistant and easy walking distance to either the grit of the historic centre or the more stylish Paseo Montejo. Steps from the property there are good cafés, funky little boutiques in art, galleries and an authentic enchilada kitchen. The street and neighbourhood are full of old world charm with the colourful façade behind which for many surprising and verdant courtyards. This is a relatively quiet neighborhood, although nothing in Mexico is ever really quiet as Mexican life goes on with its own special music. Bird calls, music and impressive church bells! The house itself is sophisticated in its decor, lending modern elements with authentic Yucatán crafts and aesthetic. Breezy with high ceilings and lots of fans. We didn’t turn the AC on the entire week but if you wanted to each room is equipped. There is a well pointed kitchen, large dining room, living room, shaded outdoor dining room into spacious and comfortable bedrooms. High-quality linens and towels, as well as soaps and shampoo are provided. The place is really comfortable and charming, and the photographs don’t do it justice. A wonderful feature of the property is the backyard which is a shaded comfortable oasis. The pool is compact but deep enough to provide refreshing plunges to beat the mid day heat. there’s a spacious terrace area beside the pool great for lounging yoga, etc. The space is completely private fig, mature, shady trees with attract, a magnificent variety of birdlife who songs make you feel like you’re in the jungle in the middle of the city. I would stay at this house again in a heartbeat.

I want to live here. The house is beautifully decorated with large airy rooms that are very comfortable. There are several fans and air conditioning units that keep the entire space very comfortable even during the hottest and swampiest of days. The location is perfect, steps from Parque Santa Ana (a common pick up spot for tours), a wide variety of top rated food and drink, and shopping. The space is spotless, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the pool is picturesque (bring bugspray!!! With DEET or picaridin!). The hosts always replied immediately to any concerns, both via messaging through Booking.com and directly through WhatsApp. Great stay, highly recommend.

Ubicación perfecta . Decoración increíble .Staff super amable . El patio trasero tiene un árbol Increíble y una alberca ideal . Las camas son comodísimas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente 😀

− La primera habitación que da a la calle es un poco ruidosa. Si tuvieran tapones para los oídos se solucionaría.

Great location, beautiful house with exquisite blend of vintage and contemporary style. We loved the styling, layout, outdoor space. The neighborhood is touristy with lots of dining options and activities within walking.

− There were some strange power issues which caused some of the lights, AC units and fans to not work. Luckily we were able to manage okay and the hosts said they would fix it promptly.
