I came to Varenna for a physics conference and stayed with my parents

I liked the ample space, belle epoque style, convenient location, and ease of booking.

− There should be closet space in the bedrooms. Get some VPNs and smart TV for foreign audiences. Shower doors are difficult to open and close. No AC. Groceries not adequate.

Location was ideal however be aware that the bells from the church next door are very loud and they ring constantly throughout the day.

− Having to go to a different location to receive and return the keys. It is a bit inconvenient especially with a lot of baggage. Need new mattress bed was not comfortable

− Very hot not enough fans for the size Cleanliness . Marks on kitchen surfaces, marks on sofas, dust behind beds Shower doors poorly maintained Light bulbs missing Poor mattresses…. One felt as though you were on a water bed the other didn’t die the frame! No mugs only 2 teacups!

A unique apartment. Huge, perfect for two couples. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room. Classic style and perfect location. No problems with check-in and check-out.

I was skeptical while making reservation for this home as there is no previous rating on booking.com. But I was no dissapointed at all. We are a family of 4. This home is so spacious and warm. We feel at home in Varenna. I love the kitchen. We well equipped.

− Located at the centre of the town, right next to the San Giorgio church, it does get noisy during the weekend. It was quite unbearable.
