− 1. Ventilation in general. The place is on the basement level and only a tiny window for air. The kitchen does not have a fan. As it is a studio, when you cook, the whole place smells of food. 2. Lack of privacy. Bed is literally next to the windows where people walk pass. Unless you have curtain drawn all the time, you might feel exposed.

7.0This apartment is well equipped and nicely decorated. The kitchen offers everything one needs. Not far from the center, is located in a quite area (everything is quite in Akureyri...).
− The bathroom and particularly the shower is quite small, XL persons might really have not enough space to shower properly. The lightning of the room might be improved (now you must get up from the bed to switch off lights when going to sleep, which is not very convenient).

10.0I had a great stay in Akureyri at Bjarmastígur 4. The apartment is as shown as in the pictures, really cozy. The bed is super comfortable. The location is great 5-12 minutes walking distance to the city center, Hof Center (which is a meeting point for many tours and where you will find the whale watching tour companies) and the supermarket. The communication with the host was really smooth and they were very helpful and accommodating. This is a great value for your money and 100% recommend.
