Stunning Flat in Little Venice Opposite the Canal

Apartment should openly disclose on-going exterior building and painting works

− The exterior of the building was covered in scaffolding and netting with workmen painting and fixing the entire building. The front garden was full of builders equipment and due to the netting and scaffolding the apartment was dark and completely lacked privacy. None of this was disclosed to us before. The conditions were such that my wife and self decided not to stay. We had several exchanges with the owner and representative requesting a refund, but to no avail. Only the next day was I offered alternative lodging - but this was far too late, and in the wrong area, and moreover we had to solve our accommodation issue that night, which we fortunately did. I would not book here again as the experience was both stressful and disappointing. We had no prior notice of the state of the works.

The elegant decor, lots of wardrobe space, few minutes walk to the nearest tube station.

− At this price, there was no provisions for breakfast provided - it would have been nice to have stocked the kitchen with a few things.

The location was fantastic and It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The management was very helpful and responsive.

− The bath was so high you had to clamber in and out of it and that felt a little unsafe.

What a stunning apartment in one of the best London locations. I am a Londoner but live outside of London now and needed to be in town for work for 3 days. For me, this apartment is WAY better and cheaper than any hotel. The mattress was SUPER firm which I love. Lovely furnishings and felt clean and cosy.

If you want a typical British experience close to public transport and right in the middle of Little Venice - that’s it!

Honestly - it can’t get more British then this!! We loved it so much! And it didn’t matter that the kitchen was a bit outdated and lacked a dishwasher which was maybe the reason some glasses etc weren’t sprawling clean - because it was all part of the charm! It was so cozy we hardly wanted to leave our little place.
