8.0The property was nicely renovated and immaculately clean. One staff member, Diane, stood out for her exceptional service at breakfast time. Diane also did a brilliant job cleaning the rooms. Diane was friendly, efficient and welcoming.
− Unfortunately we were there in a heatwave so being an old pub there was no air conditioning. Most of the bar staff were completely uninterested in serving customers or being welcoming in any way.
Great location for walking with good pub hospitality
9.0Cozy pub, when the weather was less than perfect, it was great getting a good pub meal without having to go outside.. Lovely breakfast too. Could walk out the door to some good walks, including the Mam Tor.
