This is a tastefully renovated, comfortable, well equipped old cottage

10.0

A really tastefully presented, well equipped and comfortable self-catering cottage. It was in such good condition I wondered if we were the first guests. (We weren't!) A sensitive renovation of a characterful old cottage. Location was great, well off the road through a wood, with view of garden, hills and a bit of the sea. And only 10 minutes from Cardigan. And it had Netflix!

We would have liked a bedroom door, and some more subdued lighting in the kitchen cum living room. There was a slight smell of damp - but then it's an old cottage.

A superb rural hideaway offering a great holiday experience.

9.0

All aspects of the stay were absolutely excellent and enjoyable. The uniqueness of the conversion around the old fireplace was charming, whilst the modern extension for the kitchen and dining was well planned and equipped. We were able to enjoy the sun in the morning in the front area, and the afternoon evening sun on the large lawn. Thoroughly restful and close to nature, but with easy access to large towns.

A wooden seat in the top corner of the lawn area would have made it idyllic.
