5.0Quiet countryside location. Plenty of hot water. Lovely view from upstairs balcony. Owners weren't available to greet us but kindly arranged for some friends to meet us on arrival.
− The house was very cold on arrival, although it did warm up over the next couple of days. It felt as if it may have been empty for a while as early in season. Owners confirmed no issue with using heating and stove to rectify. We weren't aware that access to the first floor was via a steep spiral staircase. Not a particular problem for us but as older guests we are aware that it could be, and the details should be clear. The directions to find the property could be more detailed, we had to ask a passer by for help. Overall the property was adequate, but we felt our experience could have been better.
