My first time in Bodh Gaya, and India
10.0I went in the monsoon season, so there were very few people there. It was a great place for peace and quiet. They have a library and beautiful reading area with a meditation/yoga room. I felt taken care of and safe. The GM also made sure to check in on me, which was very thoughtful.
− The TV wasn't working at the time, but I was too busy doing other things
On site spa was nice
7.0The bed/mattress was one if the best I have slept on during my travels thru India. All of the staff tried really hard to please the customers. A+ for their efforts.
− The cleanliness of the floors in this property and others I have stayed in is awful. They sweep with a filthy broom/mop; then squirt the floors with something from a spray bottle. Then use the same filthy broom/mop to spread the dirt around. Totally ineffective.
